Débutant en 2004, par et pour les Yersiniens, après une période de dormance en 2020, ce fonds d'entraide SVP a élargi ses actions pour aider les familles démunies de Lâm Dông/Dalat, via les oeuvres du père Du, un ancien de Yersin, promo 65. Nos coordonnées de cueillette de dons, en Europe, en Amérique et au Vietnam seront diffusées dans les entrées subséquentes de ce blog.
Vos dons serons dirigés intégralement aux bénéficiaires, nos bénévoles dévoués veillent au grain. Veuillez préciser, en acheminant vos dons, si vous désirez être remerciés publiquement ou anonymement. Mille Mercis au nom des bénéficiaires et des bénévoles.

Chân thành cảm tạ ...

Ngày 21 tháng 6 năm 2010, trong buổi họp mặt thân mật tại tư-gia của anh chị Sơn cũng ở Brossard, anh Hoàng, đại-diện nhóm CY 66-67 đã chính thức chia cho nhóm SVP một nửa số tiền quyên được ngày hôm trước, tức là 907 dollars cho mỗi nhóm. Thành thật cảm ơn lòng hảo tâm của các anh chị.

    Thank you, Sally, for maintaining this blog. And many, many thanks to Son & To-Uyen (Ti), Hai, Hoang & Cam-Tu, Vu & Sylvie, Loi & Kim-Nhung for hosting the June 2010 reunion of Yersin friends and supporters of SVP and CY67 (Centraide Yersin 67) in Montreal. I have the most wonderful memories of that week shared with friends. And those Montrealers really know how to eat well!

    I take this opportunity to celebrate two supporters of SVP who have been an inspiration to me recently. 2009 was a time of economic uncertainty for many of us, and it was tempting to ask if we can really afford to donate as much as in prior years to our favorite causes. Well, I saw that Nguyen Ngoc Bich (& Mme Thuy-Chau) from Geneva, and Michel Guerin (& Mme Isabelle) from Valbonne, France, gave to SVP as generously as in prior years. That gave me encouragement and presented a challenge I had to meet. Those who know Michel Guerin would not consider him "un enfant sage" when he was at the lycee. But now, can you imagine him being my "role model"? The world upside down! I was most privileged to spend a few days with Michel and Isabelle in Virginia last May, and to see Bich and Chau at the 2009 Yersin Retrouvailles in Dalat.

    Chère Nhung,
    Je viens de rentrer du Vietnam et tu me surprends par ton message ! SVP a bien d'autres supporters.
    Je n'irai pas par 4 chemins : C'EST TOI QUI EST MON MODELE ! Et j'espère te revoir cet automne.
